J.P. Bailey B.S.B., L.N.H.A. & Nancy Bailey
FOUNDERS, PRESIDENT, OWNER & GENERAL MANAGER
J.P. Bailey was the founder of Trinity Station Retirement Community and a lifelong resident and builder of Flatwoods, Kentucky. He passed away in August 2025 from vascular dementia while residing at Trinity Station—the very community he envisioned and brought to life. With more than 40 years of experience as a contractor, developer, and senior care professional, J.P. left an enduring mark on the region in both physical and personal ways. As a third-generation building contractor and land developer, he proudly carried on the legacy of his family—affectionately known as “the Baileys that built Flatwoods.” From residential neighborhoods to commercial landmarks, the contributions of J.P., his father Howard, and his uncles Clarence, Jack, Homer, Paul, and Harry Jr. remain woven into the fabric of the city.
J.P. earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Marshall University in Huntington, WV, and was a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. He was also a licensed Real Estate Broker and Certified Real Estate Appraiser in the State of Kentucky. His combined expertise in business, construction, and healthcare administration gave him the unique vision and capability to establish Trinity Station as a trusted and compassionate retirement community.
Beyond his professional endeavors, J.P. was deeply committed to his faith and service. He was a longtime Deacon and board member at Faith Christian Assembly Church in Flatwoods. His service and contributions to the Commonwealth have been honored with a commission as a Kentucky Colonel, the state’s highest civilian title awarded by the Governor of Kentucky in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and service to the community.
J.P. was an author as well. “Intangible Prosperity: How God Can Meet Your Needs” was released in 2014 and highlights stories from his own life that teach lessons from his work as a community developer.
As a husband, father, grandfather, and leader, J.P. Bailey remained dedicated to building not just structures—but legacies of care, faith, and excellence.
Nancy Bailey is still heavily involved in the operation of Trinity Station as President and General Manager. She has devoted her life to caring for others—both personally and professionally. A proud Flatwoods native, Nancy has spent over three decades serving the healthcare and retirement needs of her community. As the co-founder and heartbeat of Trinity Station Retirement Community, she brings unmatched dedication, experience, and compassion to her work each day.
With more than 30 years as a local business owner, Nancy’s deep love for Flatwoods and its people is evident in everything she does. Her commitment to excellence in senior care is rooted in firsthand experience—having worked in nearly every aspect of healthcare administration. Her resume includes extensive roles in billing, coding, office management, human resources, accounts payable and receivable, general operations, and owner-operator leadership. Nancy has worked with respected providers such as Advanced Family Health Care, Dr. Gerald Reams, M.D., F.A.C.S., and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, gaining valuable insight into patient care and administrative excellence.
As the wife of Trinity Station founder J.P. Bailey, Nancy has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with him in vision and effort, ensuring that Trinity Station , where she now serves as the President, isn’t just a facility—it’s a family. Her heart for the aging population is what drives her. She believes that the residents of our region—many of whom she has known her entire life—deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and warmth in their retirement years.
Above all, Nancy is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose leadership is marked by quiet strength, grace, and a relentless commitment to doing what’s right for others. Her legacy is written not just in titles or achievements but in the lives she has touched through care, service, and unwavering love for her community.

Jodi grew up in the ministry as her parents were the worship pastors at the legendary Melodyland Christian Center in Anaheim, CA. Jodi spent most of her childhood on stage singing to thousands at a time. This paid off one day as Oral Roberts himself heard her singing at Melodyland and offered Jodi the President’s Scholarship to Oral Roberts University. This began an adventure of traveling with Oral Roberts and the team, appearing nightly on “The Hour Of Healing” with Richard & Lindsay Roberts.
Jodi is now part of our activities staff and front office. She loves every opportunity to serve the people who call Trinity Station Home.
